February 9, 2021 Shelburne Little LeagueThe little league and softball registration will officially open on 2/10 and end on 3/15LL Baseball Info:Pee Wee (LL age 4) - $0Tee Ball (LL age 5) - $35A/AA (LL age 6-7) - $60AAA (LL age 8-10) - $75Majors (LL age 11-12) - $75 LL softball information:Minis (LL age 5-7 yrs old) - $60Minors (LL age 8-9 yrs old) - $60Majors (LL age 10-12 yrs old) - $75 All 8 – 12 year old baseball players MUST ATTEND scheduled assessments. Babe Ruth:(BR age 13 - 15 yrs old) - $130The assessment process allows the league to place players in the appropriate division based on skill level as well as create balanced teams. The goal is for all players to be able to learn the game, develop / progress their skills and have fun! If a player does not attend assessments, they will be placed in their age appropriate division. Winning is not the primary objective but rather development of sportsmanship, skill work, teamwork, respect for others and having fun are all part of the program. Children in third grade and up will participate in the US Lacrosse league. Third through eighth grade participants must have a US Lacrosse membership. Grades 3rd – 8th must submit a current US Lacrosse number. Please visit the US Lacrosse website (www.uslacrosse.org/membership) to register or renew your child's membership. Your child must have an updated US Lacrosse membership to participate in the lacrosse program (you will receive a confirmation e-mail with this information shortly after becoming a member/renewing). Your child must have valid US Lacrosse membership through June 30, 2021. Once you have a current US Lacrosse number you may register for the program on Charlotterec.com. You will be asked to include your child's US Lacrosse membership number if you are in grades 3rd – 8th. Please Note: YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR CHILD IN THE TOWN YOU RESIDE IN.The four Recreation Departments work together once the registration period has ended to merge teams if roster numbers are small. Please contact the Recreation office for more details. Afterschool Soccer (Grades 1-4)It is time to lace up those cleats and enjoy a fun afternoon of outdoor soccer. This program will take place at Charlotte Central. Teams will be split by grades ½ and ¾.
