**We are seeking volunteer coaches for this program**
The primary goal of recreation lacrosse is to provide a venue for athletes to learn and master lacrosse skills in a fun, positive environment. Winning is not the primary objective but rather development of sportsmanship, skill work, teamwork, respect for others and having fun are all part of the program. Children in third grade and up will participate in the US Lacrosse league. Third through eighth grade participants must have a US Lacrosse membership.
 
Grades 3rd – 8th must submit a current US Lacrosse number. Please visit the US Lacrosse website (www.uslacrosse.org/membership) to register or renew your child's membership. Your child must have an updated US Lacrosse membership to participate in the lacrosse program (you will receive a confirmation e-mail with this information shortly after becoming a member/renewing). Your child must have valid US Lacrosse membership through June 30, 2021.
 
Once you have a current US Lacrosse number you may register for the program on Charlotterec.com. You will be asked to include your child's US Lacrosse membership number if you are in grades 3rd – 8th.
 
Schedules will be finalized once we have volunteer coaches.

Please Note: YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR CHILD IN THE TOWN YOU RESIDE IN.
The four Recreation Departments work together once the registration period has ended to merge teams if roster numbers are small.
