The primary goal of recreation lacrosse is to provide a venue for athletes to learn and master lacrosse skills in a fun, positive environment. Winning is not the primary objective but rather development of sportsmanship, skill work, teamwork, respect for others and having fun are all part of the program. Games will be played with other towns; children in third grade and up will participate in the US Lacrosse league. Every child who fully participates will receive equal playing time. Third through eighth grade participants must have a US Lacrosse membership. To register your child, please follow the steps listed below:
1.) Register online at www.charlotterec.com
2.) For grades 3rd – 8th visit the US Lacrosse website (www.uslacrosse.org/membership) to register or renew a membership. Your child must have an updated US Lacrosse membership to participate in the lacrosse program. Please record your child's US Lacrosse number along with the expiration date and place it on the online registration form when prompted (you will receive a confirmation e-mail with this information shortly after becoming a member/renewing). Your child must have valid US Lacrosse membership through June 30, 2024.

Please Note: You must register with the town you reside in first; Hinesburg, Shelburne, Charlotte or Williston, so that the town gets the numbers needed to offer a program. If they don't get the needed numbers these four towns work together, when they can, to see that every child has the opportunity to play.
