The Charlotte Recreation Basketball program provides an opportunity for athletes to learn and master basketball skills in a fun and positive environment. Winning is not the primary objective but rather development of sportsmanship, teamwork, respect for others, and discipline.WE WILL HAVE DIFFERENT COLORED SHIRTS FOR TEAMS. THE TEAM SHIRT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION FEE!Practice and Game InformationThe season starts December 6th and ends Saturday, February 14th (except for Itty-Bitty)Practice will take place on weeknights between 6:00-7:30pm and/or Saturday 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.  Times will be posted as coaches determine their availability.Itty-Bitty (Ages 4-6) – Hoop Clinic & Games, Wednesdays (Parent Participation Required)Co-ed Grades 1-2 – Teams will practice one weeknight with games on SaturdaysGrades 3-4 Girls - Teams will practice one weeknight with games on SaturdaysGrades 3-4 Boys - Teams will practice one weeknight with games on SaturdaysGrade 5-6 Girls - Teams will practice two weeknights with games on SaturdaysGrade 5-6 Boys - Teams will practice two weeknights with games on Saturdays** Team size is dependent on number of volunteer coaches.Early Registration: $80 (October 14 - November 21)Late Registration: $90 After November 21Registration Deadline: December 6
